Seiver Hits Flush

Nível 6 : 300/600, 75 ante

Scott Seiver opened under the gun and just Vitaly Lunkin in the big blind made the call. Lunkin check-called 2,000 on {4-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}, 5,300 on the {6-Clubs}-turn and 13,000 on the {A-Hearts}-river. Seiver showed {10-Clubs}{J-Clubs} and Lunkin mucked. Right after that hand, Seiver was moved to a different table, so Lunkin will have to win his chips back from someone else.

Reinkemeir Busts to Cool Call From Finger

Nível 6 : 300/600, 75 ante
Tobias Reinkemeier
Tobias Reinkemeier

Martin Finger bet 21,500 on the turn of a board reading {5-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{4-Spades}{k-Diamonds} and Tobias Reinkemeier moved all in over the top for about 50,000. Finger looked a little puzzled and made the call with {a-Spades}{10-Spades}. Reinkemeier tabled his {q-Clubs}{3-Clubs} and had one more card to hit his up and down straight draw or he was out.

The river was the {a-Diamonds} and Reinkemeier was felted.

Michael Telker was sat between them and plainly impressed. “Pretty cool. You don’t see that every day.”

One More Bullet

Nível 6 : 300/600, 75 ante

In contrast to the €100,000 Super High Roller, this €25,000 High Roller is a single reentry tournament. Where players were able to fire as many €100,000 bullets as they liked in the Super High Roller, here players are only allowed to reenter once.

The following players have already reentered the tournament:

  • Andrey Andreev
  • Artem Metalidi
  • Calvin Anderson
  • Fabian Quoss
  • Isaac Lo
  • Jean-Noel Thorel
  • Lo Shing Fung
  • Michael Bahig Youssef
  • Mikhail Smirnov
  • Ole Schemion
  • Oleh Okhotskyi

Bonomo Doubles

Nível 6 : 300/600, 75 ante

Justin Bonomo was down since the last time we checked up on him, but he just doubled when he hit the perfect flop.

Bonomo opened under the gun for 1,300 and right next to him it was Andrey Andreev who made it 4,000. Action folded to Bonomo who made the call.

{A-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{2-Clubs} on the flop and Bonomo checked to Andreev who bet 15,000 to put Bonomo allin. Bonomo snap called with the flopped nuts; {K-Clubs}{Q-Clubs} for his remaining 14,150. "Oh wow" said Bonomo after Andreev tabled {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds}, showing he had more outs than Bonomo might have expected.

The {4-Diamonds} on the turn and {J-Hearts} on the river didn't pair the board though, and Bonomo doubled with his flopped flush.

Negreanu’s Bluff Catcher

Nível 6 : 300/600, 75 ante

Daniel Negreanu was in the big blind looking at a board of {10-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{6-Hearts}. He checked and his opponent, Thomas Muhlocker, bet 4,400. Negreanu made the call.

The river was the {8-Hearts} and Negreanu again checked. Muhlocker now bet 8,500, much to the disappointment of Negreanu.

“Wahhh. I wish you wouldn’t do that. I have good cards, but I can only beat a bluff.” Nevertheless he made the call and was behind Muhlocker’s {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds} with his {k-Spades}{q-Clubs}.

Katchalov Keeps His Secret

Nível 6 : 300/600, 75 ante
Eugene Katchalov
Eugene Katchalov

Scott Seiver checked it over to Team PokerStars Pro Eugene Katchalov on the turn of a board reading {7-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} and Katchalov bet 10,000. Seiver made the call and the river card fell the {k-Spades}.

Check from Seiver and Katchalov moved all in for around 40,000.

Seiver jolted back, disgusted to be put in such a spot by his opponent. It would be a substantial portion of Seiver’s stack if he called and lost. He blew out his cheeks and folded.

Dan Cates at the other end of the table called over to him, “Eugene, what’s the secret?”

“You tell me.” Katchalov replied.

Players You Should Know Are Here

Nível 5 : 200/400, 50 ante

Folding And Showing

Nível 5 : 200/400, 50 ante

Players tend to not show their cards when they fold. Sometimes though, things are a bit more relaxed and they do.

Just now we saw Alex Bilokur open for 1,100 in the hijack. Gruissem made the call from the cutoff and Sam Trickett squeezed to 3,700 from the button. After both blinds folded, Bilokur four-bet to 8,100 and Gruissem instantly folded. Trickett did the same after some thinking, tabling {3-Hearts}{4-Hearts} and laughing about it. "I was gonna hit that flop" Trickett said with a big smile to Bilokur and the dealer.

Two tables down we saw Johnny Lodden raise it up to a 1,000 under the gun. Talal Shakerchi made the call in the hijack and Steve O'Dwyer came along from the big blind. O'Dwyer and Lodden checked to Shakerchi on {3-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} and he bet 2,000. O'Dwyer folded and so did Lodden, showing {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}. Shakerchi tabled {10-Spades}{10-Clubs} and they were on to the next hand.

It's a friendly game of poker here, like a home game but than with a buy in of €25,000.
