Going for Gould

Nível 4 : 100/200, 25 ante
Alex Goulder
Alex Goulder

On the river of a {K-Diamonds}{K-Spades}{5-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} board, Alex Goulder checked and Team PokerStars Pro Marcin Horecki bet 3,150. Goulder came in for a check-raise to 10,300 and the Pole went into the tank for a couple of minutes.

Horecki put in a reraise to 20,675 - which Goulder clearly hated.

"You can't be bluffing," he muttered.

Goulder elected to fold and Horecki increased his stack once more.

Of Shot Clocks, Misclicks and Floor Calling

Nível 4 : 100/200, 25 ante

Just before the end of Level 3 there was a hand at table six which packed a lot into a single hand. The action was started by Alexis Queneau who made it 500 to play, Alexandru Papazian flat called only for Eric Sfez to make it 2,100 total to go. Back on Queneau he considered his options, seemingly for too long as Christopher Frank called the clock.

The dealer called the floor, but before their intervention was necessary Queneau threw out a solitary 5k chip and then said re-raise, Papazian folded and Sfez then questioned if it was a raise or a call, Queneau had clearly meant to raise and believed he had done so, whereas Sfez thought it should go as a call. So the floor was called again and this time their presence was required and he ruled that Queneau's bet was just a call. "I called clock because he tilts me and now he misclicks," said Frank to a friend away from the table.

The {Q-Clubs}{K-Spades}{K-Hearts} was a Picasso flop, both players checked and the {2-Clubs} hit the turn. Again there was no action, the {3-Hearts} rounded out the community cards and Queneau could wait no longer. He bet 2,600, Sfez called and the former showed {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds} which was good.

Wigg's Pair of Fives is Enough

Nível 4 : 100/200, 25 ante

EPT Copenhagen 2010 winner Anton Wigg opened to 550 from the hijack. Yves Soussan in the cutoff and the player in the big blind tossed in chips as well and they saw a flop: {A-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}. Wigg made a 700 continuation bet and just Soussan in position made the call. Wigg shut down and checked both the {Q-Clubs} on the turn and {K-Diamonds} on the river. Soussan followed his lead and checked behind both streets. Wigg tabled just {7-Hearts}{5-Hearts} on that rather dangerously looking board, but it was enough to take it down as Soussan mucked.

Zeba fica a soro e volta à vida em grande estilo!

Nível 4 : 100/200, 25 ante
Zeba e Dr.Machine
Zeba e Dr.Machine

Quando cheguei à mesa o Zeba já tinha só uma meia dúzia de fichas e a coisa estava complicada. Acabou all in numa guerra de blinds e o adversário ainda conseguiu encontrar o botão do fold.

Sigh Me a River

Nível 3 : 100/200, 0 ante

There had been some betting action on the turn and now the final card was dealt the board read {2-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{4-Spades}{j-Hearts}. [Removed:266], a Russian PokerStars player, bet 3,300 and his opponent, Jacques Krief from France let out a sigh. This was then followed not too long after by a raise to 7,000. Kleyman looked at the board and it was his turn to sigh and throw his cards away. Krief tabled his cards {2-Hearts}{2-Spades}, looking very happy as the chips were pushed to him.

Mateos Diaz Puts Mortensen in his Sights

Nível 3 : 100/200, 0 ante
Adrian Mateos Diaz
Adrian Mateos Diaz

Estrellas and WSOPE winner Adrian "@Amadi_17" Mateos Diaz is chasing down Carlos Mortensen on the Spanish all-time money list. He’s got some way to go — about $10m — but, after a stunning first year of poker, it’s possible to believe that Mateos Diaz could be the one to give the "Matador" a run for his money. Find out more at the PokerStars blog.
