Sternheimer Busts Yong
Richard Yong has busted at the hands of Philip Sternheimer. According to Team PokerStars Pro Jason Mercier, here's what happened.
Jeff Rossiter raised from under the gun, Sternheimer called from the next seat, and Yong called from the big blind. The flop came down with two spades, and Yong checked. Rossiter bet 9,500, and Sternheimer called. Yong check-raised to 30,000, then Rossiter folded. Sternheimer called.
The turn was an offsuit , and Yong bet 60,000. Sternheimer raised to 131,000, and Yong tank-shoved. Yong was all in for right around 200,000, and Sternheimer quickly made the call.
Sternheimer had turned a straight with pocket sixes while Yong had flopped a set of threes. The river didn't pair the board in Yong's favor when a fell, and he was eliminated.
Immediately, Yong wanted to re-enter and was waving his credit card around in the air in his seat, wanting to re-enter into the same seat. Unfortunately for him, he had to go over to the registration desk, re-enter for another €50,000, and was awarded a new seat, not the same one he busted from. Meanwhile, Sternheimer collected the pot and moved to 585,000 in chips.

Erik Seidel isn’t having much luck with his min bets pre flop, and so he again faced a raise after opening to 3,000. This time it was Andrew Lichtenberger, Lucy Chewy online, who made it 7,500 from the cut off. Jean-Noel Thorel called from the button and the blinds and Seidel floded. Mike McDonald got into a pre flop raising war with Jean-Noel Thorel and they were now looking at a flop of . Ole Schemion opened for 6,000 under the gun and received a call from Richard Yong in the cutoff. When action reached Martin Finger in the big blind, he three-bet to 24,000 and only Schemion made the call. When the flop came down , Finger bet 17,000 and Schemion called.
