Updated Counts For Table 2

Nível 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Denis Pisarev Eliminated in 19th Place (€40,940)

Nível 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

We happened upon the action at one of the outer tables with 800,000 or so in the pot and a board reading {10-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}. Kimmo Kurko had 575,000 out in front of him and Denis Pisarev, who only had 505,000 behind, was deep in thought as to whether or not call off for his tournament life.

Eventually a clock was called. As the floor watched the clock, Pisarev stacked he chips and then used two hands to slide it into the pot. Kurko quickly rolled over the {2-Clubs}{2-Hearts} for a full house and Pisarev mucked. Since it was an all-in pot, Pisarev's hand was shown by the dealer. He held the {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}.

"Good Bluff"

Nível 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

We caught the action with 2.04 already in the pot and a board reading {5-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{10-Spades}{k-Clubs}{5-Hearts}. Pasi Sormunen had just moved all in under the gun for 1.685 million and Tom Middleton was deep in the tank.

Middleton, who is called "Middy" by his friend, spent nearly six minutes in the tank before saying, "Good bluff." He then sent his hand to the muck. Sormunen, who to that point had been sitting as still as a statue, sprung up and slapped his cards face up... {a-Spades}{j-Clubs}. It was a good bluff indeed, but Middleton did not seem excited to see it.

Nice Call by Middy

Nível 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Action folded to Tom Middleton in the small blind and he put in a small raise. Michel Eid defended from the big blind, the flop fell {2-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{k-Hearts} and Middleton check-called a bet of 110,000. Both players then checked the {K-Spades} turn and the {4-Spades} completed the board on the river.

Middleton checked for a third time and Eid bet a modest 110,000. Middleton looked suspicious and opted to look him up. Eid indicated that it was a good call before showing the {10-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}. Middleton then tabled the {a-Hearts}{5-Spades} for ace high and the win.

Pisarev Thinks He's Been Eliminated

Nível 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Denis Pisarev got his last 430,000 all in preflop holding the {a-Hearts}{q-Spades} and was up against the {k-Clubs}{j-Clubs} of Kimmo Kurko. The {6-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{9-Clubs} flop kept Pisarev in the lead, as did the {4-Hearts} turn, but he thought he was eliminated when the {J-Hearts} river paired Kurko.

A devastated Pisarev got up out of his seat and began to wrap up his headphones, but then he noticed he had actually made a flush. A big smile crossed Pisarev's face and he retook his seat while being pushed a pot of nearly a million.

Updated Chip Counts from the Feature Table

Nível 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Sergei Chantcev Eliminated in 20th Place (€40,940)

Nível 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Sergei Chantcev moved all in for his last 625,000 and got a call from Niall Farrell who turned over his {a-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} wondering whether he had made the right call, giving Chantcev a questioning look. It took a few seconds for the cards to be turned over, {a-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}. “Oh come on. “ Said Farrell feeling he had been slow rolled. The dealer put out the cards {6-Clubs}{2-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{4-Spades} and a sick river card gave Farrell his winning pair to send a sickened Chantcev out in 20th place.
