It's been pretty quiet in heads-up play thus far, but a nice pot just upset the balance a bit. It happend when Kimmo Kurko opened for 600,000 with the 
and Middleton defended holding
. Both players checked the 
flop, the 
turned and Middleton led out for 900,000 with his pair and flush draw.
Kurko, who had turned a pair of nines, made the call and the 
completed the board on the river. Middleton bet a hefty 2.2 million and Kurko tanked for a couple of minutes before making the call. Middleton showed his two pair and took down the pot.
