Sam Higgs and Chino Rheem had been under pressure over on table seven while George Wolff dropped below a million and Steve O'Dwyer raked in more chips. It would then be O'Dwyer who knocked out Higgs in 13th place to set up the final two tables.

Higgs was at risk with against the of O'Dwyer and a nine-high board left Higgs drawing dead on the turn. He takes home A$70,980 and the remaining 12 players are now guaranteed at least A$91,260.

Rafferty Three-Bets Twice

Farid Jattin raised to 27,000 from under the gun and Tom Rafferty in the big blind three-bet to 103,000. Jattin jammed for 473,000 and Rafferty asked for a count before releasing his cards.

In the next hand, Yake Wu opened to 27,000 on the button and Rafferty three-bet to 105,000 in the small blind. Jattin released his cards in the big blind and Wu did the same after some consideration.

Steve O'Dwyer more than doubled his stack and Jack Sinclair won a big pot off George Wolff. "He hit a three outer on me," Wolff said in chat.

Chino Rheem has dropped to a short stack and just raised to 25,000 from the cutoff, which O'Dwyer called in the big blind. On the flop, O'Dwyer checked and subsequently folded when facing a bet of 25,000.

Fast Fires Big at Greenwood Before Break

Dietrich Fast defended his big blind and check-called a small bet on the flop before the turn checked through against Sam Greenwood. With on the felt, Fast fired out a big bet of 157,000, well over the size of the pot. Greenwood thought about 30 seconds and released his cards.

Players are now on break for 15 minutes.

Derek Ip Eliminated in 14th Place (A$70,980)

Derek Ip was caught bluffing when he only had a bottom pair of deuces and Masato Yokosawa looked him up with for third pair.

That reduced the stack of Ip significantly and he dropped below 10 big blinds.

He was then in the big blind and faced a button raise to 23,000 by Tom Rafferty. Farid Jattin moved all in from the small blind and Ip called all-in for 81,000 from the big blind, Rafferty folded.

The flop paired Jattin and Ip was in need of running cards to double. It was all over after the turn and the river mattered no more. Ip has been eliminated in 14th place and takes home A$70,980 for his efforts.
