In an earlier hand, Jan Suchanek had check-raised the turn of a board and then check-folded the river to a bet worth 3,000 by his immediate table neighbor. Upon checking the table again just now, the seat of Suchanek was empty and Julius Colman claimed the knockout.

In a multi-way pot, there was a raise to 250 and three callers before Suchanek reraised to 1,525. Three opponents including Colman called and Suchanek then shoved a seven-high flop with top set. Colman had a pair of tens and improved to claim the pot.

Jack Salter is also in the field as well and sits at a table with Sam Khouiss. Both players had a decent start so far and are slightly above the starting stack with Khouiss defending his small blind to a raise. On the four-way flop of , Khouiss check-folded to a bet worth 700 though and that was the end of the hand.

Salter has more than $2.8 million in live tournament cashes and came close to glory back in 2014 here in the Crown Casino after finishing second to Scott Davies in the A$ 10,000 No Limit Hold'em WSOP APAC Main Event. The payday of A$ 516,960 back then was and still is the second biggest of the poker career for the young Brit.

Rory Young defeated a star-studded field and Sam Khouiss in heads-up back in 2014 to claim a golden bracelet at the World Series of Poker Asia Pacific here in Melbourne. The young Australian is back for another shot of glory over on table 31 now, but there haven't been any movements to his stack yet.

Xuan Liu raised to 350 from the cutoff and was called by Geoffrey Mooney from one seat over only to see a flop of . Both players checked and Liu then fired the turn for 450. Mooney called, but folded to the 900-bet on the river.

One hand later, there was a raise to 375 and Mooney, the player in the small blind and Kahle Burns in the big blind called. The flop was checked to the initial raiser, who continued for 850. Only the player in the small blind called and won the pot with a bet of 1,100 on the turn.

Michael Addamo was the initial raiser and picked up two callers in Geoffrey Mooney and Kahle Burns. On the flop , Burns bet 625 and Addamo folded, Mooney called. Both the turn and the river were checked down and the of Burns won the hand.

One hand later, Addamo was involved in a battle of the blinds and bet river. His opponent in the small blind reluctantly called and then mucked when he was shown the by Addamo. The same table also features Xuan Liu as well.
