PokerStars European Poker Tour regressa a Monte-Carlo no final do mês; confere o calendário

O PokerStars European Poker Tour (EPT) está prestes a voltar a um dos destinos mais emblemáticos do circuito ao vivo. O EPT Monte-Carlo 2026 decorre de 30 de abril a 10 de maio, no Sporting Monte-Carlo, e volta a levar o poker de alto nível até à Riviera Francesa, numa etapa que celebra já o 21º aniversário da paragem monegasca no circuito.

Para os fãs portugueses, há razões extra para acompanhar esta etapa. Depois de alguns bons resultados lusos na edição de 2025, e tendo em conta a forte presença nacional nos festivais EPT mais recentes, é de esperar que Portugal volte a marcar presença nas mesas do Mónaco.

Destaques do EPT Monte-Carlo

A ação arranca a 30 de abril com o €1.650 PokerStars Open Main Event, torneio No-Limit Hold'em com quatro flights iniciais e reentrada única por flight. No mesmo dia começa também o €10.200 Mystery Bounty, com €5.000 de cada buy-in destinados ao prize pool de bounties mistério. Já no dia 1 de maio arranca o €100.000 High Roller for One Drop, evento solidário associado à iniciativa One Drop.

O calendário oferece opções para praticamente todas as bancas, desde torneios mais acessíveis até aos habituais high rollers, com destaque para uma agenda recheada de eventos de No-Limit Hold'em e Pot-Limit Omaha, sem esquecer variantes como Omaha Hi-Lo e T.O.R.S.E.

Monte-Carlo traz boas memórias recentes para a armada lusa. Na edição de 2025, Manuel Carvalho subiu ao pódio do €10.200 Mystery Bounty para €152.600, João Vieira terminou no 3º lugar do €30.000 Super High Roller Warm-Up para €258.300 e Pedro Neves fez mesa final no €25.000 NLH Unlimited Re-Entry, terminando na 5ª posição para €132.000.

Manuel Carvalho foi também o melhor português no Main Event do ano passado. O luso chegou a ensacar no top 10 para o Dia 3 e acabou por ser o último representante nacional em prova na corrida ao título.

O €5.300 Main Event do EPT Monte-Carlo arranca a 4 de maio. O torneio terá dois flights iniciais, ambos com reentrada única, seguindo depois para o Dia 2 em 6 de maio. A mesa final está marcada para 9 de maio, com o campeão a ser coroado no dia seguinte.

Aleksandr Shevlyakov regressa como campeão em título do Main Event. O russo venceu a edição de 2025 para €1.000.000, depois de bater um field de 1.195 entradas.
