Não existem muitas alterações no top10 do Global Poker Index Player of the Yearpela segunda semana consecutiva. O Team PokerStars Pro Jonathan Duhamel manteve o primeiro lugar pela 13º semana mas esperamos ver sérias alterações durante as World Series of Poker, durante as próximas oito semanas.
Duhamel foi seguido por Dan Smith, Andrew Badecker, Samuel Chartier e Bertrand Grospellier nos rankings. Fora do top 10, Ognjen Sekularac subiu 18 lugares até ao Nr.. 14, nos rankings desta semana. Sekularac tem quatro mesas finais em 2012, incluindo o quarto lugar no World Poker Tour Viena Main Event para $112,973.
Por entre as grandes alterações, Heinz Kamutzki (subiu 42 lugares para Nr. 51), Joe Kuether (subiu 85 lugares para o No. 82), Sebastian Winkler (subiu 55 lugares para Nr. 87) e David Peters (subiu 87 lugares para Nr. 99).
