Breaking Down Strategy for the NEW Live Poker Satellites

PokerStars introduced a new live satellite at EPT Prague and have continued running these satellites here at EPT Monte Carlo. Instead of the usual satellite structure where a certain amount of players get a satellite seat once enough people have busted, this new format gives satellite seats to a player who gets a certain number of chips. For example, in the new single-day satellite, you get a 10K starting stack, 15 minute levels, and the moment you accumulate 50,000 chips, you automatically win the seat and have your chips taken out of play.
