board with roughly 50,000 in the pot, a player checked. Chance Kornuth was sitting one seat to his opponent's left and bet 32,000. His opponent thought about it and called after facing Kornuth's signature stare.

completed the board and Kornuth's opponent checked. Kornuth slid out a bet of 80,000, leaving only 4,000 behind. His opponent put in the calling chips.
"Ace-king," said Kornuth as he tabled 
and collected the pot to chip up when his opponent mucked.
