Eric Sfez opened to 1,000 from early position and was three-bet to 3,000 by a late position player. The cutoff called as did Abraham Korotki out of the small blind. The big blind came along and Sfez too tossed in the extra 2,000 to send action five-handed to the flop.
All players checked through the 
flop to the 
turn. Both blinds checked for a second time, prompting Sfez to fire off a bet of 6,500. The late position player called while the cutoff and blinds got out of the way.
On the 
river, Sfez, with one eye on the large number of chips already in the middle, bet out 15,000. His sole remaining opponent wasted little time in mucking their hand to send Sfez rising up the chip counts.
