Early Pot for Kohlberg

Nível 1 : 100/200, 200 ante

With roughly 25,000 in the pot on a completed board of {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{j-Spades}, Curt Kohlberg bet 15,000 in middle position.

His early position opponent thought for a bit but decided to lay down his hand to concede the pot to Kohlberg without a showdown.

Weng Eliminated, Buys Back In

Nível 1 : 100/200, 200 ante

Bin Weng lost nearly all of his stack early in Level 1 in a hand that left him with just 200 chips.

The next hand, the button limped in and Weng, who was in the small blind and had already posted 100, tossed in his last chip for an all-in and saw a flop three ways.

The big blind bet on the flop to get the hand heads-up and Weng quadrupled as his ace-ten held up against the ace-five of his opponent.

Unfortunately, Weng went all-in for 800 the next hand with ace-ten and couldn't get there against the pocket queens of an early position player.

Weng was seen buying in on a second bullet shortly after busting.

Engel Chops it Up

Nível 1 : 100/200, 200 ante

Ari Engel opened the cutoff, the button three-bet to 2,000, and Engel called.

The {a-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} flop was checked through to the {4-Clubs} turn. Engel led for 2,000 and was called, and led for 4,000 on the {4-Spades} river and was called.

Both players revealed {a-}{q-} and the pot was chopped, with Engel retaining a bit over the starting stack from a previous pot won.

Davies Wounded

Nível 1 : 100/200, 200 ante

Seth Davies faced a river decision with the majority of his stack already in the middle on a board reading {10-Hearts}{4-Spades}{8-Spades}{5-Hearts}{10-Clubs}.

With around 50,000 in the pot, Davies' opponent moved all-in for 12,000 out of turn, prompting Davies to then check. The all-in was binding and Davies thought through the hand as his opponent engaged in some speech play.

"I got out of line pre-flop, I apologize. But I turned a monster!" the opponent yelled. "I promise I stopped drinking last night."

"We know that's a lie!" laughed table mate Chino Rheem.

Davies eventually tossed in a call for most of his chips. The opponent showed {10-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} for trips and Davies mucked in defeat, leaving himself with just 4,000.
