Scharf's Aces Get Ran Down

Kai C

Nível 17 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Tomasz Kozub had opened the cutoff then Eduard Scharf three-bet the button to 50,000. Kozub called.

On the 3♠Q♠7♥ flop, Kozub checked and Scharf potted for 113,000, which left him with just 1,000 behind. Kozub shoved, and Scharf called.

Eduard Scharf: A♣A♥9♠3♦ All in
Tomasz Kozub: 8♦7♠6♠2♦

Kozub's pair and flush draw would prove superior as he rivered a flush on the K♦4♠ runout, which eliminated Scharf.
