Claudio Di Giacomo opened to 4,000 from middle position and was called by Dinesh Alt in the small blind and Onur Gizer in the big blind.

All three players checked the Q93 flop leading to the A turn. Alt checked, Gizer bet 5,500, Di Giacomo called and Alt called.

All three players checked the 10 river. Di Giacomo had two pair with Q3, Gizer had a better two pair with A9 and Alt had a Broadway straight with KJ to take the pot.

De Mario Doubles Up with Two Pair

Daniel Matissek kicked off the action with a raise but soon found himself facing an all-in from Massimo de Mario. Matissek decided to make the call, and the hand went to showdown.

Massimo de Mario revealed KQ, while Daniel Matissek showed A10.

Needing some help from the board, de Mario got exactly what he wished for when the flop came down 5K9. Not only did he pair his kings, but the turn brought the Q, giving him two pair.

Now it was Matissek’s turn to hope for a miracle, but when the 7 hit the river, his chances faded. De Mario celebrated his double-up, having secured a strong hand.
