Queens Crushed: Grassmann’s Nightmare Matchup Against Kings
Nível 21
: Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Every poker player has faced this situation: you hold pocket queens, get all your chips in, and pray not to run into a bigger pair. Unfortunately for Patrick Grassmann, that’s exactly what happened when his Q♥Q♣ ran into Dominique Potenza’s K♥K♦.
The flop crushed Grassmann’s hopes as it came down 3♦2♠K♠, leaving him with slim chances. The 7♣ turn and the 6♠ river offered no help, and Potenza sent Grassmann to the rail.
