Klam Finds a Pearl Against Dusco; Werner Busts Kaitmazov
Nível 21
: Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
With around 70,000 in the pot on a flop of K♦9♦9♥, Stephan Klam bet 12,000 in early position and Alexandr Dusco called in the small blind.
Both players checked the Q♣ turn before Dusco led out for 35,000 on the 3♥ river. Klam spent nearly two minutes in the tank before calling.
Dusco showed A♦6♦ for a missed flush draw and Klam slammed down 7♦7♠ to win the pot.
At the same time at another table, Victor Kaitmazov was all in for around 70,000 as Bernd Werner splashed in the chips to call.
Victor Kaitmazov: A♠10♥
Bernd Werner: A♣K♥
Both players hit a pair on the K♣10♣7♣ flop, but Werner was still in the lead with his kings. The board ran out J♦5♦ and Kaitmazov was sent to the rail.
