Orduzu Goes Runner Runner to Double Through Pliashko
Nível 6
: Blinds 400/800, 800 ante
There were only 9,000 in the middle to the 10♣9♦2♣ flop after which a raising war broke out. Hakan Orduzu ended up all-in and at risk for 97,800 against Ihar Pliashko to create the following showdown.
Hakan Orduzu: J♥10♠9♥4♦
Ihar Pliashko: K♠Q♣9♠9♣
Orduzu needed a ten or running cards for a straight as Pliashko was miles ahead with the set, gutshot and flush draw.
The 8♠ turn and 7♠ river saw Orduzu pull a rabbit out of the hat as he indeed caught a jack-high straight.
