Boatman was ahead with broadway but had some outs to dodge, as Pirsic had two pair and an inferior flush draw.
The river was the 9♦ and Boatman doubled for 42,200.
One hand later, Boatman was in the big blind and Pirsic was all-in for 1,900 from under the gun, picking up calls from Michal Schuh and Boatman.
Boatman bet the A♦10♦3♣ flop for 1,000 to earn a call from Schuh and bet the A♣ turn again, forcing out Schuh.
"Do you have the ace?" Pirsic asked and Boatman shook his head, exposing the 10♣9♣9♥8♦. Pirsic was alive with the J♦9♠9♥7♥ and spiked the J♠ river for the triple up.
"This guy got so lucky against me!" Boatman joked with a big grin on the face.
