Jachtmann Smacks the Flop

Heads-up on a flop of 3♠3♣8♣, Jan-Peter Jachtmann bet 3,000 from early position and Hans Bergmann called under the gun.

The turn was the A♣ and Jachtmann bet another 8,000. Bergmann again called and the 2♠ fell on the river. Jachtmann then bet 32,000 and Bergmann snap-called.

Jachtmann turned over 8♥8♠ for a flopped full house and Bergmann could do nothing but laugh as he gave up his hand.

Aaron Duczak, like Jachtmann a past WSOP Main Event finalist, is also at this table, as are Ben Heath and Jessica Teusl.

Tsang Adds Further Chips

The floor was called to several times as players called the clock during long-winding hands. One of them saw Giuliano Bendinelli and Anson Tsang heads-up to the 5♥2♥2♣4♠K♦ river on which Bendinelli had checked. Tsang bet 15,200 and the Italian went into the tank.

Once Bendinelli was given thirty seconds to act, he let it run down to three seconds before folding.

Rcheulishvili Takes From Tsai

Picking up the action on the A♦A♣4♣9♥ turn, Ting-Yi "Eric" Tsai checked and then called a bet worth 14,000 by Levan Rcheulishvili. The 2♣ fell on the river and Tsai checked again. Rcheulishvili increased his bet sizing to 40,000 and Tsai gave up the pot.

Peng Eliminated in Three-Way Three-Bet Pot

Yi Zhan Peng, Mahsum Aslan, and Paulius Vaitiekunas were involved in a three-bet pot worth 40,000 chips. On the 8♦2♥10♦ flop, Peng jammed all in for 28,600 from early position. Aslan thought for a minute or so before putting in the call with the covering stack and Vaitiekunas quickly mucked thereafter.

Peng was drawing slim against the flopped set of Aslan, and the 4♦ turn brought him no extra outs. The K♥ river sealed his fate and he packed up his belongings.

"If you would've shoved pre you would've won," Vaitiekunas advised Peng while he was on his way to the exit.

Pilhofer Pays Off Lehner

Stefan Lehner and Istvan Pilhofer went heads-up to a flop of 2♦4♣4♥ with around 30,000 in the pot when Lehner bet 11,800 in the hijack.

Pilhofer called in the cutoff and the 8♠ fell on the turn. Both players checked to the 7♠ river, where Lehner moved all in for 53,000.

Pilhofer agonized over the decision for around two minutes before cutting out the chips to call and throwing them in the middle. Lehner then showed K♣K♦ and Pilhofer flashed two nines before mucking as the WSOP bracelet winner doubled up.

The action was caught when the board had already been completed, and it read 6♦K♦A♣8♠Q♦. Hen Rosilio then tanked for a few minutes in the big blind before the clock was called on him.

Before the floorman could come over, however, Rosilio decided to put his opponent Michael Rohde all-in for his last 65,000 chips. Rohde lamented his situation and took a few minutes of his own before finally putting in the call.

Rosilio showed A♦K♥ for top two pair, while Rohde tried to muck his Q♥J♥ for just a rivered pair of queens. However, the dealer retrieved as is mandatory for an all-in situation, and Rohde stormed off while Roslio crossed the half-million mark.

Madhariwar Wins Consecutive Three-Bet Pots

Krishna Madhariwar opened to 3,500 from middle position and called when Martin Stausholm three-bet to 10,500 from the cutoff.

Madhariwar check-raised to 16,000 on the 8♥7♥7♠ flop after Stausholm bet 5,000. The latter folded.

The following hand, Madhariwar opened to 3,500 from early position and was called by Ion Tabacaru on his direct left. Chris Brewer made it 14,000 from the button, and both players called.

The A♥J♦2♠ flop checked through to the 4♥ turn. Madhariwar bet 20,000, and only Brewer called.

Brewer then folded on the 3♣ river when his opponent moved all in.
