Aaron Duczak opened to 4,500 from the hijack and was called by Hans Bergmann from the button. Fabrizio Naselli three-bet to 22,500 from the big blind. Duczak called, prompting Bergmann to move all in for 183,300. Naselli tank-folded and then Duczak committed the 100,000 or so that he had behind.

Duczak was couldn't improve on the 42854 runout and was eliminated.

Mahaut Loses a Flip to Bust

Anthony Mahaut was down to around 20,000 and moved all in from early position. Dorian Melchers called in the small blind to put him at risk.

Rosenberg Takes on the High Rollers

Yuval Rosenberg raised to 5,200 in early position and received calls from Roman Hrabec and Adrian Mateos in the blinds.

The flop came 6JA and Rosenberg continued for 7,000. Only Hrabec called to see the 7 turn, where Rosenberg bet 9,000.

Hrabec again called and both players quickly checked the 2 river, Rosenberg showing down A4 to win the pot.

In addition to Hrabec and Mateos, this table also includes Viktor Blom and Yannick Schumacher.

Defending Champ Eljach Doubles Up

After several raises, Omar Eljach got all of his 132,600 chips in from the cutoff against Nikola Minkov in the big blind, who played 30,000 more.

"El Classico," another player at the table noted. It would be Eljach's turn to win this admittedly classic flip when the aces and kings remained absent on the 8J443 runout. He doubled up while Minkov was left with 15 big blinds.

Eric Tsai opened to 4,000 from the cutoff before Borys Rozhanovskyi three-bet to 12,000. Kapian Tamer called from the small blind and Levan Rcheulishvili decided to make it 41,000 from the big blind. Only Rozhanovskyi called.

The AQJ flop checked through to the 5 turn. Rcheulishvili bet 31,000 and then called when his opponent raised to 80,000.

The K river was an action killer and both players checked.

Rcheulishvili tabled A5 for aces and fives but was bested by the aces and jacks AJ that Rozhanovskyi held.

Desset Continues His Rise

With 65,000 chips in the pot, Finn Zwad and Andrej Desset both checked the turn on Q57J. The J river then completed the board and Zwad let out for 28,000 from middle position.

Desset instantly called and Zwad could only show a bluff with 98. Desset tabled KK for the winning two pair and raked in another pot on what has been a stellar Day 2 for him so far.

Game of Gold Participant Guilbert Folds to Four-Bet Jam

Virgile Turchi opened to 4,000 from under the gun before Johan Guilbert made it 10,500 from the next seat over. Turchi then moved all in, and Guilbert snap-folded.

Cruel River Sends Out Andersson

Darius Samual three-bet to 14,500 on the button before Joakim Andersson four-bet to 40,000 in the cutoff. Samual then moved all in and Andersson snap-called for 150,000.

Andersson was ahead with his queens as the flop came 78K. The 9 turn gave Samual the nut flush draw, but he didn't need it as the A fell on the river to give him top pair and send Andersson, who won his first WSOP bracelet in the €1,000 Turbo Bounty earlier this week, to the rail.

Uharczek Doubles Di Persio and Uhara

The cards of Marek Uharcek were already in the muck and he paid off a double worth 91,400 to Marco Di Persio. On a board of 832410, the AA of Di Persio ended up as the winner. According to the Italian, Nils Pudel had raised and received one caller. Uharcek then squeezed to 20,000 for Di Persio to shove out of the small blind, only Uharcek came along and called with ace-king to lose a big portion of his stack.

Things got even worse for Uharcek soon after when he looked up Motokatsu Uhara preflop with KK versus AK. The 1073AJ board delivered an ace on the turn and another blow to Uharcek's stack.
