Covaciu Survives a Flip Against Radicchi

Nível 12 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Paul Covaciu raised to 9,000 under the gun and Lukas Pazma called next to act. Andrea Radicchi then three-bet to 36,000 on the button, Covaciu moved all in for 127,000, Pazma folded, and Radicchi called to put him at risk.

Paul Covaciu: 66
Andrea Radicchi: AQ

Covaciu was flipping against Radicchi's massive stack and watched as the board ran out 27410J. Radicchi couldn't connect and Covaciu's pair of sixes held on to earn last year's fifth-place finisher a double up.

Radicchi shares this table with fellow big stacks Stefan Lehner and Axel Hallay.

Kraft and Misic looked like they were going to share Uithof's stack after the 932 flop, but Uithof became the favorite after the J turn. The 8 river confirmed his triple up.

He then left his seat for a running fist pump and shouted "yes," to mark the end of the hand.
