Lin "Gambles Too Much"

Hyunsup Kim raised it up to 25,000 and Stephen Chidwick three-bet to 80,000. It folded back to the initial raiser, who briefly vaulted out of his chair to study the stack of his opponent. Kim then splashed in a reraise to 800,000 and Chidwick instantly folded.

"I like it, you gamble," Ren Lin joked.

It was then Lin who raised the button and Kim defended the big blind. Kim check-called for 20,000 on the K♣6♠4♥ flop and 80,000 on the 7♣ turn. He then bet the 4♦ river for 110,000 and Lin tanked for a short while.

Once Lin called, Kim tabled the K♠10♣ and that won the pot.

"You gamble too much," Chris Brewer joked to Lin.

Angelou-Konstas' Limp Confuses Lin

Ioannis Angelou-Konstas limped in from the hijack, and Stephen Chidwick followed suit from the cutoff. Ren Lin was in the big blind with a fresh stack, and spent one time bank extension before announcing "call". However, he misunderstood the situation and put in 25,000 chips.

Because the action was verbally announced as a call, Lin was forced to check and the trio saw a flop of K♦Q♦K♣, where Angelou-Konstas bet 13,000 after a check from Lin. Chidwick called before Lin got out of the way.

On the 2♦ turn, Angelou-Konstas slowed down with a check and quickly thereafter folded to a 23,000 bet from Chidwick.

Kim Takes Showdown Pot Against Brewer

Kim made it known that he came to play and put out a three-bet to 85,000. Mulder quickly folded and Kim raked in his first pot of the night.

Meanwhile, Nacho Barbero reentered to get the total entries up to 21.

Mulder Straightens Out Barbero

In a single-raised three-way pot to the Q♣7♣6♥9♥ turn, Nacho Barbero in the small blind and Teun Mulder in the big blind checked. Ioannis Angelou-Konstas bet 51,000 in the hijack and Barbero then check-raised to 225,000.

Mulder squeezed it up to 385,000 and that forced out Angelou-Konstas.

Barbero was visibly upset but eventually piled in his shorter stack.

"Straight," Mulder declared as he flipped over the 8♠5♣. Barbero needed a heart with the A♥2♥ but bricked the K♣ river to hit the rail.

In the meanwhile, Santhosh Suvarna re-entered as the field reached 17 players out of 19 entries.
