With 40,000 in the pot on the {q-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} flop, Tamas Adamszki, in the small blind, check-called Ahmad Achegsei's 20,000 bet.

Adamszki checked on the {5-Spades} river and Achegsei moved-in to put his opponent at risk. After a few minutes, Sirzat Hissou called the clock which prompted Adamzski to make the call.

Achegsei had {q-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} for top pair beating his opponent's {j-Hearts}{9-Hearts}. Elsewhere, Bahadir Hatipoglu was leaving his seat and departing the tournament floor.

This has generated a prizepool of €672,695 and payouts will be confirmed when they appear on the board.

Day 1 will close once 16 levels have been completed or until the final table has been reached.

Whilst the players are on there dinner break there have been a few faces seen with some fresh chip stacks in the King's Resort tournament room.

Players Go On Dinner Break

Level 9 has wrapped up and the entrants are now on a 60-minute dinner break. This also signifies the last hour of late registration.

So far, there have 62 entrants and just 49 of those remain.

Clock Called On Sturm

With 50,000 in the pot on the {j-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{2-Spades}{9-Diamonds} board, Lars Kamphues bet 30,000 from under the gun and Leon Sturm on the button called.

Kamphues jammed on the {6-Clubs} river and his opponent went deep into the tank, so much so that the clock was called. Eventually Sturm released it and apologised for his lengthy decision but his tablemates told him not to worry.

Dingengen Wins Snowmen

Julien Martini opened to 4,500 in late position and was called by Fausto Tantillo and Tom Dingenen in the blinds. The latter two players checked to Martini on the {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} flop, Martini continued for 8,500 and only Dingengen called.

Both players checked the {5-Diamonds} turn which brought in the {10-Spades} river. Dengenen checked for a third time before Martini fired for 17,500.

Dengengen made the quick call and turned over {8-Spades}{8-Hearts} for a set, Martini had shown that he paired his ace.

Amsellem Holding His Own

Jacob Amsellem in the big blind called Julien Sitbon's 4,500 preflop bet to bring the {j-Clubs}{8-Spades}{7-Hearts} flop. Action checked through to the {a-Diamonds} turn, Amsellem check-raised to 30,000 and Sitbon promptly folded.
