There was a pot of around 17,000 in the middle and the flop was reading 
when Manig Loeser checked from middle position. Aleksandr Merzhvinskii bet 5,500 from the cutoff and Loeser check-called.
The dealer burned and turned the

river. Both players checked again. Loeser tabled 
for eights and threes but that wasn't good enough as Merzhvinskii turned over 
to win the pot with nines and eights.
