Negreanu Eliminated by Verbakel

Nível 21 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Daniel Negreanu
Daniel Negreanu

The action folded to Daniel Negreanu in the small blind and he moved all in for 134,000. Remco Verbakel in the big blind peeked at his first card and glanced back at Negreanu, who was already filming with his smartphone.

"You tell me what to do," Verbakel joked and added "if the other card is a deuce, I call," and peeled both cards so they were partly visible on the corner. Verbakel then called and they turned them over.

Daniel Negreanu: {k-Spades}{4-Spades}
Remco Verbakel: {a-Clubs}{2-Clubs}

The board came {q-Spades}{10-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} and Negreanu missed out on both live cards and a straight draw to bow out in approximately 195th place.

[Removed:349] Bluffs It Off

Nível 21 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Alexander [Removed:349] opened to 25,000 in middle position and was called by Stefan Rothdauscher on his left along with the big blind. The flop came {j-Clubs}{5-Spades}{5-Hearts} and [Removed:349] continued with a bet of 35,000. Rothdauscher called and the big blind got out of the way.

The turn was the {a-Spades} and [Removed:349] fired out another bet of 45,000. Rothdauscher still called and the {2-Spades} completed the board. [Removed:349] pushed out a bet of 80,000 and Rothdauscher thought for over a minute before calling. [Removed:349] just mucked his cards and Rothdauscher was awarded the pot without having to show his cards.

Martinelli Finds a Lucky Flop

Nível 21 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

The action folded to Corrado Martinelli in the cutoff who shoved all in for 103,000. Pierre Neuville gave it some thought on the button but decided to pass. Claudio Di Giacomo, however, instantly called from the small blind.

Corrado Martinelli: {a-Diamonds}{8-Spades}
Claudio Di Giacomo: {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds}

The window card was the {8-Hearts} but it was followed by the {j-Clubs}. However, the third card on the flop was the {8-Diamonds} to put Martinelli in the driver's seat. Another player at the table also mentioned that they folded an eight. The {k-Hearts} and {2-Hearts} runout gave Martinelli a double up.

Di Giacomo was left with around 10,000 chips and was eliminated shortly after.
