Sammer Keeps Firing

Shai Avitan raised to 1,700 from middle position and Andrey Demidov called from the button along with Harald Sammer in the big blind.

Players saw a flop of {9-Spades}{6-Clubs}{5-Clubs} and action was checked to Demidov who bet 3,000. Sammer check-raised to 11,000 and Avitan folded but Demidov stuck around with a call.

The turn came the {7-Spades} and Sammer threw in a bet of 8,000 that Demidov called.

The {2-Spades} filled up the board and Sammer fired 29,000. Demidov thought for a long while, then chose to let it go.

Barth Takes One from Trajanov

The flop read {6-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} in a raised pot when Robert Trajanov checked and Ralf Barth sent a bet for 3,500. Trajanov tanked and made the call.

Both players checked on the {k-Spades} turn and {3-Diamonds} river and Trajanov showed {4-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} for a missed draw and the pot was sent to Barth with {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}.

Anson Tsang opened to 2,000 in the cutoff and Roberto Castelli called on the button as well as Tarun Goyal in the big blind.

The flop came {6-Hearts}{3-Spades}{a-Clubs} and Goyal checked to Tsang who continued for 4,000. Castelli shoved for 11,500 and it came back to Tsang who tanked a minute and called.

Tsang didn't hit throughout the {10-Hearts} turn and {j-Hearts} river and Castelli doubled with a pair of aces.

The turn brought the {10-Hearts} and Stoklasa checked again. Schejbal continued with a bet of 2,200 and Stoklasa gave up his hand. Schejbal showed the {a-Diamonds} before raking in the pot.

The flop read {10-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} with three players involved and a pot containing 7,000 when Hao Wu bet 2,500. Jan Stoklasa called and Marek Blasko decided to raise it to 10,000 from the button. Wu folded but Stoklasa moved all-in, putting Blasko at risk.

Blasko went deep into the tank and asked if it was a re-entry tournament before ending calling with {k-Hearts}{q-Spades} for a pair of queens. Stoklasa showed {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs} for a set of tens.

The turn brought the {j-Clubs} and the river the {a-Clubs}, giving a runner-runner straight to Blasko who doubled up toa stack around 80,000 while Stoklasa chipped down to 15,000 chips.
