Burns On Top of the Counts

Nível 15 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Eitan Boorchook was down to a little over 10 big blinds when he shoved all in for around 35,000 from under the gun. Simon Burns, who was sitting on a much larger stack, called from the seat next to him. The rest of the table folded and the two hands were face up.

Simon Burns: {a-Hearts}{9-Hearts}
Eitan Boorchook: {j-Spades}{10-Spades}

Boorchook was looking to connect with the board in any way but the {q-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{2-Spades} runout was not meant to be.

Somogyi Doubles Through Blaschke

Nível 14 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Manuel Blaschke opened to 6,000 from the cutoff and Karoly Somogyi shoved all in for 54,000 in the big blind. Blaschke instantly called and Somogyi wasn't happy with the result.

Karoly Somogyi: {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds}
Manuel Blaschke: {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}

Somogyi started repeating a curse word in his native tongue and it continued through the flop of {k-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}. However, the {8-Diamonds} on the turn gave Somogyi a flush.

"Ok," he said as he sat back down in his chair. The insignificant {10-Hearts} completed the board and Blaschke passed over a double up.

Nível 14 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Florian Koehler pushed all in for his last 11,500 in early position and Julien Hernandez re-raised to 30,000 in the cutoff. Adir Menashe four-bet shoved all in for over 100,000 in the small blind and Hernandez folded pocket jacks face up.

Adir Menashe: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}
Florian Koehler: {a-Clubs}{6-Hearts}

Menashe held the dominating lead heading to the flop of {a-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{3-Hearts}. The {k-Hearts} on the turn gave Menashe two pair and Koehler was drawing dead to the {10-Hearts} on the river.

Lendi Turns a Boat

Nível 13 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Alexandra Laudicina found herself all in preflop up against two other players with a pot of around 35,000 up for grabs. The dealer fanned the flop of {4-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{2-Spades} and both Roman Lendi and Andreas Mages checked to the {7-Spades} on the turn.

Lendi checked again Mages tossed in a bet of 15,000. Lendi check-raised all in for 48,000 and Mages asked for a count before laying his hand down.

Laudicina showed {a-Spades}{j-Clubs} and was cheering for a flush, only to find out that Lendi had {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs} for a full house and she was drawing dead. The {3-Diamonds} completed the board and Lendi scooped everything.

Lerzer Cracks Nebdal's Aces

Nível 13 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Adam Nebdal was left with his last twelve big blinds and put them in the middle from the button when it was folded to him. Tobias Lerzer called from the small blind and Christian Mohr called two from the big blind.

The flop came {k-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{9-Spades} and Mohr folded after Lerzer bet 11,000.

Adam Nebdal: {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}
Tobias Lerzer: {k-Hearts}{10-Hearts}

Lerzer had two pair and Nebdal needed help in order to stay alive in the tournament, which he didn't find after the {2-Diamonds} on the turn and the {4-Hearts} on the river respectively.
