After the first 15 levels of play there were just 46 players remaining out of the total field of 271 entries in Event #11: €2,200 Pot-Limit Omaha of the 2019 World Series of Poker Europe. The tournament room here at King's Resort is ready to host all the hopefuls that will return for a chance to get in the money at first, and then make a run to the final table.
The first step will be easy to achieve as only five of the remaining players will leave empty-handed, with 41 players guaranteed at least €3,210. The second step will require more efforts and a player who has a big advantage over the rest of the field is Anton Morgerstern, who bagged the biggest stack of Day 1 with 726,000. Close behind him, Leonid Yanovski with 614,000 and Tomas Ribeiro with 461,000 round up the top three spots in the chipcounts.
Many big names are still in the field though, as Sam Higgs (298,000), Christopher Frank (277,000), Dash Dudley (224,000), Daniel Negreanu (108,000), Jeff Madsen (88,000), and the defending champion Anson Tsang (294,000) will do their best to reach the final table.
Day 2 is scheduled to start at 2 p.m. local time and it will finish when the final table is set. For today the blind levels will have an increased duration of sixty minutes and play will resume from Level 16 with a 3,000 small blind and a 6,000 big blind. There will be a 15-minute break after every two levels of play and a dinner break is scheduled after Level 24, approximately at 8:30 p.m. local time.

In a four-way limped pot, the flop read and saw Dash Dudley and Tomas Ribeiro check in the blinds. Anson Tsang bet 15,000 and only Guillermo Mallol made the call.
A appeared on the turn and Tsang tanked for some time before betting 35,000. This time Mallol folded and Tsang added the chips to his stack.

Jeff Cormier is the first player to depart from the field, despite not being one of the short stacks. He played a big pot against Andriy Lyubovetskiy and the action was on the turn, with on the board.
Cormier check-called Lyubovetskiy's bet to 40,000 and they went to the river in a pot with more than 200,000 inside.
The river was the and this time Lyubovetskiy announced pot, after Cormier checked. The Canadian was struggling whether to call or not for his tournament life but then decided to call. Lyubovetskiy opened for a full house and Cormier showed disappointed his for a lesser full house.

Andriy Lyubovetskiy raised on the button and called a raise from Ming Hong Teoh in the big blind.
All the chips went in the middle when the flop showed , Teoh holding for two pair, against for Lyubovetskiy.
The turn and river improved Lyubovetskiy's hand into a full house and Teoh made his way to the exit.

After a limp and a call from Tobias Peters situated in the small blind, Omar Hang raised to 25,000 in the big blind. Only Peters called.
The flop came and Peters check-called another bet for 28,000. On the turn, Peters checked again and taked for some time after Hang bet 65,000, before eventually folding.

Onder Yavuz was the shortest stack in the beginning of Day 2 and he didn't manage to survive until the payouts.
In his last hand, he had 20,000 chips left and put them in the middle from the button, after Sam Higgs raised to 16,000 from under the gun. Jonas Kronwitter followed from the big blind and they saw the flop coming .
Kronwitter and Higgs were the two active players in the hand and they both checked.
The came on the turn and Kronwitter bet 38,000 this time, with Higgs calling.
The was the last community card of the board and this time Kronwitter checked. Higgs bet 80,000 and Kronwitter tanked for almost five minutes before making an agonizing fold.
Higgs showed for just a pair of tens but it was good sincec Yavuz had for a pair of threes.
