"That's the new poker, just call and hit," Sebastian Langrock joked. Only a few minutes later, Langrock had no reason to joke anymore as he was eliminated for the second time on Day 1A.

In a battle small blind versus cutoff, Gerrit Muller bet the 
turn for 18,000 and Karl Paeschke called to see the on the river. Muller grabbed his remaining stack of T-5,000 chips and put them into the middle of the table to set Paeschke all in for effective 60,000.
Paeschke immediately sighed and leaned back in his seat. Half a minute passed and he sent his cards into the muck, allowing Muller to claim the pot without showdown.
Shaun Deeb, current 2018 WSOP Player of the Year leader, has also joined the mix along with Robert Auer and Martin Wendt on his second bullet.

Just before their table broke, Alexander Shelukhin and Sebastian Langrock clashed in a small pot. The board showed 
and Shelukhin bet 3,000 for two third the pot. Langrock gave it some thought and called to get shown 
for a busted straight and flush draw. Langrock claimed the pot with 
for a pair of nines to chip up on his second bullet of the day.

Oliver Heidel built a stack and has more than three times the starting stack. That is nothing compared to Gerrit Muller and Daniel Prior, though, but Heidel is on the way for a deep run in the tournament already.
Jaroslav Peter and Pasquale Grimaldi have joined the tournament, Mick Heder and Jakob Miegel departed. The latter has busted for the second time and won't be allowed to re-enter on Day 1A anymore.

Dutch Boyd raised to 2,000 and picked up one caller. Artem Miller in the small blind made it 6,000 to go and Boyd reraised to 21,000 with around 20,000 behind. The cold-caller folded and Miller gave it some thought before moving all in, a quick call by Boyd followed.
