Donev and Ferguson Eliminated

Nível 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Chris Ferguson
Chris Ferguson

Chris Ferguson moved all in for around 80,000 from the small blind and Mike Leah called from the big blind.

Chris Ferguson: {9-Hearts}{7-Hearts}
Mike Leah: {A-Spades}{4-Hearts}

The board came {K-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{J-Spades} and Ferguson was eliminated.

Soon after, Ivo Donev also joined the rail. He got it in for five big blinds with {A-}{4-} and Tobias Schaaf called with {J-}{10-} to spike a jack on the flop.

In another recent hand, Jeff Cormier shoved for around 150,000 with the {A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds} and Philipp Caranica reshoved with pocket tens. The board came {K-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} and Cormier doubled.

Kooij Chopped Up; Schaaf Gets Lucky

Nível 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Teunis Kooij
Teunis Kooij

Teunis Kooij was all in with pocket tens from under the gun and a short stack called on the button for less, while Jan Mach called from the big blind.

The button had {A-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} and Mach the {A-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}. An ace appeared on the board to give both players top pair, but Kooij's eight kicker was no good and he was out.

Tobias Schaaf was more fortunate. Down to 49,000 he shoved with the {K-Spades}{2-Hearts} and Liran Twito called with {A-Spades}{8-Spades} from one seat over. The board came {A-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{2-Spades} and Schaaf scored a miracle double.

Marinelli Takes One Out

Nível 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

The player in the cutoff threw his remaining 5,000 in. Dario Marinelli, on the button, also shoved for 60,500. Everyone else folded.

Dario Marinelli: {9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}
Cutoff: {10-Hearts}{7-Hearts}

The board ran out {5-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{10-Spades} - Marinelli hit a set of nines and that was sufficient enough to send his opponent to the payout desk.

The First Casualties in the Money

Nível 18 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

As expected the players are dropping quickly since the bubble bursted. Among those to run out of chips were Fabian Gumz, Elena Litvinyuk, Yehuda Cohen, Vivian Saliba and Lawrence Whyte.

Gumz was all in with {K-Spades}{8-Spades} and ended up second best to the {A-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} of Romain Follet on a board of {10-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{2-Spades}{3-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}.

Vivian Saliba took a flip with {6-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} out of the big blind and Bernd Gleissner on the button had {K-Spades}{Q-Hearts}. The board came {Q-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{4-Spades}{4-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} and Saliba jokingly said "you survived longer than me" to table neighbor Whyte, who had 7,000 left and busted the next hand.

Korbinian Sonnenholzner raised to 16,000 and Camilla Reventlow shoved for 26,500, which was called by Georgios Koliofotis on the button. Yehuda Cohen called all in blind out of the big blind. On the {A-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{9-Spades} flop, Sonnenholzner check-called 20,000 before they checked the {3-Clubs} turn and {10-Diamonds} river.

Cohen mucked {8-Clubs}{7-Clubs} for a missed straight and flush draw, while Sonnenholzner showed {Q-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}. Reventlow's {A-Hearts}{Q-Hearts} scooped the entire pot as Koliofotis only had {A-Spades}{J-Spades}.

Milad Oghabian: {J-Spades}{9-Spades}
Jan Mach: {2-Clubs}{2-Hearts}

The board ran out {10-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{5-Spades}{9-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds} - Oghabian hit his nine on the turn to double up.

Goryachev Bubbles the Turbo Bounty Hunter

Nível 18 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
WSOPE Event #2 Bubble bursting
WSOPE Event #2 Bubble bursting

Viacheslav Goryachev moved all in for his last 22,500 from the cutoff and Jan Mach called on the button, as did Bernd Gleissner in the big blind. Both active players checked the {10-Clubs}{9-Spades}{5-Clubs} flop and Gleissner checked the {Q-Spades} turn. Mach bet 34,500 to force a fold and the cards were turned over after all other tables were finished.

Viacheslav Goryachev: {A-Clubs}{J-Spades}
Jan Mach: {Q-Hearts}{J-Clubs}

The {2-Diamonds} river was a blank and all remaining 49 players were in the money, with Goryachev leaving as the unfortunate bubble boy.
