Sontheimer Four-Bets the Turn

Albert Daher, on the button, and Steffen Sontheimer in the big blind saw a 
flop together. Both players checked the flop but the 
on the turn brought out the fireworks.
Sontheimer was first to act and checked. Daher bet 25,000 into the 82,000 pot, Sontheimer check-raised to 175,000 and Daher clicked it back to 425,000. Sontheimer wasn't done yet and cut out a turn four-bet to 750,000. Daher made the call in position.

and Sontheimer checked.
"I don't think you have anything," said Daher, who checked behind. Sontheimer definitely did, though, and showed 
for trip fours. Daher nodded and mucked his hand.
"I didn't think you had anything," Sontheimer replied.

Kempe Calls Down Luca's Bluff

and Ivan Luca led out for 131,000 from the big blind. Rainer Kempe was in the cutoff and made the call into a pot of nearly 200,000.
The 
peeled off on the river and Luca made another bet of 245,000. Kempe tossed in a single chip and Luca quickly threw his cards into the muck. Kempe was awarded the pot and didn't have to show his cards.

Mateos Shoves on Kenney

After already substantial action preflop, Bryn Kenney (cutoff) and Adrian Mateos (button) saw the 
flop together. Kenney checked, Mateos bet 155,000 and Kenney called. On the 
turn, Kenney checked, Mateos bet 510,000 and Kenney called again.
The river was the 
and Kenney checked a third time. Mateos emptied the clip and fired a third barrel worth his remaining stack of 1,230,000, almost all of Kenney's remaining chips as well. The American exhaled, talked to himself and took around a minute to come to a conclusion. He took a sip from his water, then folded his hand.
Mateos smiled at his neighbor and showed 
as he took down the pot.

Big Names Hit the Felt

Some big names that were expected to make an appearance for this €100,000 event have finally arrived and taken their seats. Bryn Kenney, who is ranked #1 on the GPI and having an incredible 2017 thus far, has returned after making a deep run in the €25,000 High Roller.
Fedor Holz has been steamrolling his competition in these high-roller tournaments for quite some time now and he is only 24 years old. Holz won his first WSOP gold bracelet in 2016 in the $111,111 High Roller for One Drop and will be looking to add a second title to his name.

, Liv Boeree was on the button and faced with a bet of 37,000 from her opponent in the cutoff. She made the call and the 
landed on the turn.
The cutoff fired another 155,000 and Boeree stuck around to see the on the river. Her opponent bet 325,000 and Boeree sat with her hand covering her face. She thought for a minute and then tossed in a chip to call. Her opponent slid his cards to the muck and the pot was shipped to Boeree without having to table her cards.
