Law and Aidonopoulos Rising

Chun Ho Law just scooped a big pot when flopping top two pair with and got involved in the next hand right away. Jeff Cormier raised to 4,500 and Law three-bet to 12,000 from one seat over, which Cormier called after brief consideration. On the flop, Cormier checked and Law bet 13,500. Cormier was having none of it and check-raised to 30,000, which sent Law into the think tank. The Brit double-checked his stack and elected to fold.

One table over, Theodoros Aidonopoulos opened to 4,100 and Zdenko Slavik called from the small blind. The flop fell and Slavik checked, Aidonopoulos continued for 4,400 and was called. After the turn, Slavik checked once more and eventually folded to a second barrel worth 9,200.
