2011 World Series of Poker Europe
We first witnessed a hand between Alexander Kostritsyn and Jarred Solomon in which the latter lost some chips. The board read

when Solomon bet out 6,000 and Kostritsyn decided to raise to 13,700. Solomon tanked long and hard but couldn't find the fold button. Kostritsyn showed

and raked in the pot getting himself up to 120,000 chips.
The next hand Solomon raised from the under the gun position to 3,400 getting calls from Kostritsyn and Vedes who was in the big blind. The flop came down

and all three players checked. The turn was the
and Vedes potted for 11,000 leaving himself with just 100 chips behind. Solomon made the call after which Kostritsyn folded.
The river was the

Joshua Green has been battling a short stack all day after coming back with around 10,000. He's still battling a short stack but has a little more breathing room after doubling up to 28,000.
He saw an

flop with chip leader Antony Lellouche before the rest of the chips went in.
The Frenchman was a ahead with

as Green tabled

for a worse two-pair.
The board ran out
to make a backdoor straight for the Brit.
On a

board Jon Spinks bet out 14,500 into a big pot and almost instantly Fierro mucked his cards. Nicolas Fierro started the day as chip leader but has gone down a lot as he's below the average stack at this point. Jon Spinks keeps grinding and must feel better even though he and Fierro have the same stack.

Victor Ramdin was not too happy with Michel Dattani for the way he played his hand to double-up.
Ramdin raised to 2,800 and then four-bet all-in when Dattani three-bet to 9,000. Dattani called all-in.
Ramdin:

Dattani:

The board ran

to make Dattani a flush after he called for a heart. Ramdin is down more to 110,000, whereas Dattani is up to 38,000.
Philippe Boucher has seen his chip graph steadily increase through these first few levels. He just played out a hand in position and managed to win it without showdown.
He raised to 2,500 from the button and Palevic three-bet to 7,500 from the small blind. Victor Ramdin called quickly from the big blind and that helped bring in Boucher.
The flop was

and and Palevic continued for 17,000 and only Boucher called. The
turn was checked to the
river where Palvic checked to face a 24,500 bet. The Swede procrastinated for a time and folded, only after Boucher started speaking to him.
