Jason Mercier Has It

Nível 11 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

There was a sizable pot in the middle with a board at the river reading {5-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{7-Spades}.

Jason Mercier was first to act in the big blind and he assembled some chips and bet 13,700.

The decision was on Chris Edwards. It didn’t take him long to pay the price to see the cards.

Mercier showed him {6-Hearts}{5-Hearts} for the straight and collected the pot.

This year's One Drop events were a massive success. In the little One Drop, $487,401 was raised and every single person who entered the event contributed to the donation.

Between the High Roller and Little One Drop, more than $992,000 went to One Drop on behalf of the players in 2017. What an incredible number and it just goes to show the benefits that can come from the poker world and how giving people are. Adam Hendrix Busts Holding Aces

Nível 11 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Adam Hendrix shoved his short stack from under the gun and fellow short-stack Tom Koral moved in behind. No more callers and cards were on their backs.

Adam Hendrix: {a-Hearts}{a-Spades}
Tom Koral: {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}.

The board ran out {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{q-Spades}{9-Diamonds}

Before the flop, Hendrix slumped in his seat as if expecting the worst, but allowed himself a nod of the head as the first thee cards hit the felt. The turn had him exhaling and shaking his head, though. The river saw him hand over the remainder of his stack and exit before the money.

“Brutal,” another player said in agreement, “You played the turn great,” he said to Koral.

“It’s important to have the best hand in the end,” Koral agreed.
