Nível 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Tardif Is On a Rush

Nível 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

With about 45,000 in the pot and the board reading {10-Spades}{8-Clubs}{3-Spades} Patrick Tardif was in the cutoff and bet 15,000. The player on the button called.

The turn was the {2-Diamonds} and both players checked. the river was the {10-Diamonds} and both players checked again.

Tardif announced, "I have a deuce." and then flipped over his hand showing {a-Spades}{6-Spades} and began to apologize immediately to his opponent who had still held onto his cards. After he saw the ace high, he mucked anyway and Tardif celebrated the victory. Tardif also mentioned he doubled up with aces a couple hands previously and it shows with his new chip count.

Tardif Wins One for the Internet Kids

Nível 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

James Calderaro raised to 20,000 from the cutoff and Patrick Tardif moved all in for his remaining 80,000 or so. Calderaro mucked his hand with a bit of a giggle and Tardif said, "Let me show you guys the bluff," and flipped over {a-}{q-}.

Tardif is from the great white north and we have been joking with him as we haven't been able to catch one hand of his with action, so here it is folks, Patrick Tardif takes it down from the newly crowned WSOP bracelet winner.
