Kassouf Bests Mizzi

Nível 1 : 25/50, 0 ante

William Kassouf and Sorel Mizzi saw a flop of {J-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{5-Hearts}, and Kassouf check-called a bet of 200 from Mizzi. The {J-Spades} hit the turn, and Kassouf checked again. Mizzi checked to the surprise of Kassouf, who said, "Oh that slowed you down?"

The river brought the {10-Clubs}, and Kassouf went into his usual river speech. He asked the dealer to spread the pot and said, "Okay, let's see how much is in there. Let's go for 600, shall we?"

Mizzi quickly folded, and Kassouf said, "I'll show you one," before revealing the prettiest card in the deck, the {A-Spades}. Despite taking the pot, Kassouf is down a bit from his starting stack of 10,000.

Early Knockout for Joon Park Vaults Him Up

Nível 1 : 25/50, 0 ante

On a {7-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{6-Spades} board, Joon Park was facing an all-in bet from an opponent, and he quickly called.

Park: {7-Clubs}{7-Spades}
Opponent: {3-Hearts}{4-Hearts}

Park had flopped the world, while his opponent turned a straight and had a redraw to a straight flush. Unfortunately for him, the river was the {10-Hearts}, improving him to a flush that was no good.

Park took down the pot and vaulted himself up the leaderboard early here on Day 1C of the Event #74: $1,111 The Little One for One Drop.

Slow Start

Nível 1 : 25/50, 0 ante

The Miranda Room is starting to fill up as players continue to file in. The action has been very cautious as it seems players are feeling each other out.

Pok Kim and William Vo are taking another shot after not finding a bag on the other Day 1 flights. Natalie Hof has chipped up early when her {10-}{7-} got paid off after making trips against a player with {k-}{j-} who paired his king.
