Richard Gryko Isn't Giving In

Nível 11 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

With about 24,000 in the pot, on a board reading {q-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{3-Hearts}, Richard Gryko led out for 14,200 from the small blind. Rohan Dhawan was on the button and raised to 37,000. Gryko thought for a moment and then called.

The turn was the {4-Spades} and Gryko checked. Dhawan wasted no time and fired out a bet of 42,000. Gryko paused again and eventually called.

The river was the {8-Hearts} and both players checked. Gryko tabled {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades} for top pair, top kicker and Dhawan mucked.

Gryko is off to a hot start early, adding to his massive mountain of chips.

Suriano Among Early Casualties

Nível 11 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Davide Suriano was among the early casualties of the day, bowing out on the table of Oleksii Khoroshenin.

One table over, there were two seat open in quick succession and Robert Sura was responsible for both of them. First he sent Greg Huffman to the rail and Eric Semel followed suit. Semel three-bet all in with the {K-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs} and Sura called with {A-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}. The board of {A-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{10-Clubs}{Q-Spades} ended Semel's Main Event run early on Day 3 while someone at the table said "you are a killer, that's two already" over to Sura. The same table also features Kathy Liebert with an above-average stack.
