Adams Finds a Double on the Secondary Feature Table

Nível 8 : 500/1,000, 100 ante
Brandon Adams
Brandon Adams

Brandon Adams found himself all in and at risk before the flop. He was holding {A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds} aginst Albert Daher's {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}. Adams was all in for roughly 25,000, and Daher had called with a covering stack.

The flop came down {7-Spades}{4-Spades}{8-Spades}, not helping either player and offering no extra outs to Adams. The {8-Clubs} on the turn was a blank as well. Fortunately for Adams, the river was the {Q-Spades} and that gave him the two pair he needed to double up through Daher and to keep him alive in the tournament.

Yevgeniy Timoshenko

Yevgeniy Timoshenko raised from late position and his opponent three-bet to 7,200 from the big blind. Timoshenko shipped all in for 22,400 and his opponent called.

Timoshenko: {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}
Opponent: {k-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}

The board ran out {9-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{2-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} and Timoshenko made a pair of aces to stay alive. He has now doubled up to nearly starting stack, but still has a long way to go.

Terik "Tizzy" Brown Flops Quads, Doubles Up

Nível 8 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

With over 20,000 in the pot and the board reading {J-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{10-Hearts}, the player in the small blind had moved all in, and Terik "Tizzy" Brown was in late position. Brown called with quads and had a double-up secured.

Brown: {J-Spades}{J-Diamonds}
Opponent: {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}

The {9-Spades} turn and the {2-Diamonds} river were insignificant and Brown raked in the pot, leaving his opponent short-stacked.

Piccioli Takes from Lee

Nível 8 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

On a flop of {7-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{J-Clubs}, the action checked to Gyeongbyeong Lee in the cutoff and he bet 5,000. The button folded before Bryan Piccioli called in the small blind and the big blind folded.

The turn of the {6-Diamonds} was checked through by both players as the {3-Diamonds} landed on the turn.

Piccioli bet out 23,500 and Lee mucked and dropped to 340,500 after eliminating Brent Roberts a few hands earlier.

Piccioili is now up to 220,000 in chips.

Kuipers Wins Kings Against Aces

Nível 8 : 500/1,000, 100 ante
Pim Kuipers
Pim Kuipers

After an early-position raise, Pim Kuipers looked down at {K-}{K-} and put in a three-bet in late position. The initial raiser four-bet and Kuipers called. The flop was {K-}{10-}{X-} and all the money went in to create a pot of 160,000. Kuipers' opponent held {A-}{A-} and was out-flopped by Kuipers' kings. The board provided blanks on turn and river to send the pot to the Dutchman.

Shortly after, Kuipers knocked a player out with {A-}{A-} against {Q-}{Q-} to move up even further. Kuipers now sits at 350,000 and wields one of the biggest stacks in the room.

Baumann Can't Hold with Aces

Nível 8 : 500/1,000, 100 ante
Gaelle Baumann Eliminated
Gaelle Baumann Eliminated

Gaelle Baumann got her remaining 66,000 chips in the middle against Marc Rivera and was in great shape to double up. Baumann turned over {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds} and her opponent tabled {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}.

The flop came {k-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{7-Hearts} and Rivera took the lead with a set of kings. The turn was the {j-Hearts} and the river brought the {4-Diamonds} which was good enough for Rivera to eliminate Baumann.

After cracking Vanessa Selbst's aces on Day 1b in what could turn out to be the hand of the Main Event, Baumann was also eliminated holding the same hand.

The river was the {10-Spades}, Jaka checked, the button bet 20,000, and Jaka folded.
