Small Pot for Chan; Abou Risk Loses Some; Lech Eliminated

Nível 7 : 400/800, 100 ante

On a four-way flop of {Q-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{9-Clubs}, the action checked around and Johnny Chan then bet the {K-Spades} turn for 1,500. One after the other, his opponents folded and Chan showed the {K-Diamonds}. One opponent said "I had an underpair," to which Chan's table neighbor replied "I had the lowest, pocket fives."

Nick Abou Risk looked up a short stack for 17,600 with {A-Diamonds}{K-Spades} and saw his opponent turn over {6-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}. The board ran out {Q-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{5-Spades} and Abou Risk's ace-king ended up second best.

Last but not least, Michael Lech got his last 6,000 in from the cutoff and the big blind called with {A-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}. Lech only had {A-Spades}{8-Hearts}, but spiked a dream flop of {K-Spades}{9-Spades}{8-Spades}. With the spades outs gone, Lech was in good shape to stage a comeback, only to see the board complete with the {10-Hearts} turn and {Q-Hearts} river.
