Hand #81: Thornton raised to 140,000 from under the gun, and Klodnicki defended his big blind. The flop came {q-Spades}{10-Hearts}{9-Hearts}, and Klodnicki check-called a bet of 130,000 from Thornton. The turn was the {4-Hearts}. Klodnicki checked, Thornton bet 325,000, and Klodnicki folded.

Hand #82: Darren Elias moved all in for 600,000 from the hijack, and Thornton practically beat him into the pot, calling from the big blind. Elias was at risk with {k-Spades}{j-Spades}, up against Thornton's dominating {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}.
