Nível 15 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

John Esposito may have promised to play some big pots against Martin Kabrhel but it was Kenny Hallaert who took him on first.

Just as the tournament was going on break, Hallaert opened and Kabrhel called. The other players folded and most left the room to take their break.

The flop was {7-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}.

Hallaert bet 6,500 and Kabrhel raised small to 13,500.

Hallaert quickly announced all in and, just as quickly, Kabrhel called.

Hallaert: {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}
Kabrhel: {7-Diamonds}{7-Spades}

The turn was the {2-Spades} and the river the {q-Spades}.

Even a club could not have saved Hallerrt against the flopped full house of Kabrhel.

Hallaert waited to be escorted to the payout desk as Kabrhel reached over to take his stack into his own.

Martin Kabrhel and John Esposito Make Friends

Nível 14 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Martin Kabrhel

Martin Kabrhel loves to talk incessantly at the poker table. Some people love it, others hate it.

John Esposito has just joined the table and for the moment he is the subject of Kabrhel’s attention and Esposito is currently giving as good as he gets.

It looks as if neither knows who the other player is or their reputations although they seem to be determined to get into pots with each other while the talk flows between hands. They have similar stacks so this could be an interesting battle.

Crazy Hand with Crane

Nível 14 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Russell Crane raised to 5,000 and he was raised to 37,000 from Kenny Hallaert who left himself with 800 behind. Crane announced call, threw out chips, and flipped his hand, showing {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts} and not seeing the 800 Hallaert had left.

The floor was called and Crane was instructed to put out the 37,000 and turned his cards face down.

The flop came {k-Hearts}{j-Spades}{9-Hearts}, Crane threw out a bet and Hallaert put out his last 800.

Hallaert: {j-Clubs}{j-Hearts}
Crane: {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}

The turn was the {6-Spades} and river came {a-Spades}. Crane did not improve despite all the outs he had on the flop. Hallaert got a double-up and Crane got a one-hand penalty for the mistake.

Yuhei Sanada Doubles Through Martin Kabrhel

Nível 14 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Martin Kabrhel opened the action and Yuhei Sanada moved all in for just over 66,000.

Kabrhel gave his opponent his customary staredown and chatter and, although it wasn’t clear how much Sanada from Japan understood, he told Kabrhel that he had aces. Kabrhel nevertheless called.

Sanada: {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds}
Kabrhel: {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}

The board ran out {2-Spades}{j-Spades}{k-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{5-Hearts} and Sanada had his double-up.

“He said he had aces. He lied to me,” Kabrhel said in mock outrage.

“I am a bluffer.” Sanada replied.

“Biggest bluffer from Japan eh? Bluffing machine,”
