Hands #54-58: Korn and Boivin Win Some

Nível 28 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

Hand #54: Pete Chen opened the action with a raise to 125,000 on the button. Andres Korn Korn called in the small blind and so did Thomas Boivin in the big blind. The flop came {K-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} and it checked to Chen. He bet 180,000, Korn called, and Boivin folded.

It was heads up to the {5-Clubs} turn and Korn bet out 265,000. Chen folded and Korn took down the pot.

Hand #55: Boivin raised to 180,000 in the small blind and Chen folded his big blind.

Hand #56: Boivin opened to 125,000 on the button. Chen folded his small blind and Korn called in the big. The flop came {A-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{2-Clubs} and Korn checked. Boivin bet 80,000 and Korn called. The turn was the {J-Diamonds} and Korn checked again. Boivin checked back and the river was the {5-Diamonds}. They both checked and the showed down. Both players had {K-}{6-} for a chopped pot.

Hand #57: Chen raised to 125,000 on the button and Boivin defended his big blind. The flop was {Q-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{7-Spades} and Boivin checked. Chen checked back and the turn was the {10-Clubs}. Boivin bet 225,000 and Chen called. The river was the {8-Spades} and Boivin bet 500,000. Chen folded his hand and Boivin took down the pot.

Hand #58: Korn raised to 130,000 on the button and Chen called in the big blind. The flop was {A-Spades}{8-Spades}{9-Diamonds} and Chen checked. Korn bet 135,000. Chen called and the turn brought the {10-Diamonds}. Chen checked again and Korn bet 230,000. Chen called. The river was the {9-Hearts}, pairing the board, and both players checked.

Chen showed {10-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} for tens and nines, and Korn's {K-Spades}{K-Clubs} was good for a better two pairs.
