Hands #44-48: Katz Hits a King on the River

Nível 27 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Hand #44: Samuel Phillips raised to 110,000 from under the gun, and Mohsin Charania called from the big blind. The flop came {k-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{2-Hearts}, and Charania checked to Phillips, who bet 105,000. Charania moved all in for 280,000, and Phillips called. Charania tabled {k-Clubs}{10-Clubs}, and Phillips showed {9-Clubs}{9-Hearts}. The turn was the {7-Spades}, and the river brought the {8-Diamonds}, giving Charania a double-up.

Hand #45: Mikhail Rudoy raised to 110,000, and Phillips three-bet to 365,000 from the big blind. Rudoy called, and the flop was {a-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{6-Hearts}. Both players checked, and the {2-Spades} fell on the turn. Phillips checked again, and Rudoy bet 350,000, getting Phillips to fold his hand.

Hand #46: Rudoy raised to 110,000, and everyone folded.

Hand #47: Phillips raised to 110,000 on the button, and Cary Katz shoved all in for 610,000 from the small blind. Phillips quickly called and tabled {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} against Katz's {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}. The board ran out {9-Hearts}{9-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{k-Spades}, and Katz hit a king on the river to double through Phillips.

Hand #48: Katz raised to 125,000 on the button, and Ian Steinman called from the small blind, along with Rudoy from the big blind. The flop came {q-Hearts}{10-Spades}{3-Spades}, and the action was checked to Katz, who bet 340,000. Both of his opponents folded, and Katz took down another pot.
