Remz Scoops Monster Pot

Nível 12 : 1,200/2,400, 0 ante
Sean Remz
Sean Remz

A huge pot has seen chip leader Sean Remz go from rich to even richer.

On a {K-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}{3-Spades} flop, Andreas Klatt checked to Remz and he bet. Klatt check-raised before Remz announced a re-pot all-in with Klatt calling off roughly his last 155,000.

Klatt: {A-}{A-}{Q-}{3-}
Remz: {5-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}

With Remz holding a low wrap, the {5-Clubs} on the turn would see him make his wheel as the {8-Clubs} completed the board on the river.

As Klatt headed to the rail, Remz climbed to over 450,000 in chips.

Hughes Doubles Through Tehan

Nível 12 : 1,200/2,400, 0 ante

Ryan Hughes got his last 35,000 or so in on a board of {10-Spades}{j-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} against Joe Tehan.

Tehan: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}{5-Clubs}{3-Spades}
Hughes: {k-Clubs}{q-Spades}{q-Clubs}{6-Spades}

Tehan had draws for low and high but missed them all as the {9-Spades} river gave Hughes a winning straight to double.

Miller Pressures Deeb

Nível 12 : 1,200/2,400, 0 ante

Catching the action on the board of {Q-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{K-Spades}{K-Clubs} with both players committing 12,000 on the flop, Shaun Deeb checked over to Ryan Miller and he bet 40,000.

Deeb went deep into the tank for several minutes before eventually kicking his cards to the muck.

In the process, Deeb dropped to 43,000 and Miller ascended up to 243,000 in chips.

Ferguson Times Down

Nível 12 : 1,200/2,400, 0 ante

Chris Ferguson bet 13,000 on a {9-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{3-Hearts} flop from early position and James Daniloff check-raised to 26,000 after he put in 20,000 by accident and it was ruled enough for a raise as it was more than 19,500. Ferguson called and the turn was a {7-Hearts}. Daniloff bet 30,000 this time and Ferguson thought awhile. The table was breaking and someone called a clock after a couple of minutes. When Ferguson's timer was about to expire, he released his hand and knuckled the table.

There was an all-in preflop aces versus aces clash at Table 727, and we arrived for the aftermath. Andrey Zaichenko had {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{10-Spades} and Ryan Hughes had {a-Hearts}{a-Spades}{q-Hearts}{q-Spades}. Though Hughes had the better side cards to make a high hand, both players were still playing their aces after {3-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} hit the felt. However, it was the Russian who was playing a low combo of six-ace to take the low half, giving him three quarters.

Sexton Eliminated

Nível 12 : 1,200/2,400, 0 ante

Mike Sexton stood up from his chair and exited the tournament area.

Catching the trail end of the end before the dealer scooped the cards, the board read {A-}{A-}{5-}{10-}{7-} and Sexton was all in and held {A-}{K-}{Q-}{J-}.

His lone opponent in the hand, Warren Sheaves, held {A-}{5-}{5-}{X-} and, with Sexton unable to improve on his flopped trips, he was eliminated by Sheaves.
