Natasha Mercier Eliminated

Nível 2 : 50/100, 0 ante

"You're not dead," said Natasha Mercier who was all in.

"Really?" came the reply from her opponent Jeremy Joseph.

Action was on the turn with the board reading {8-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{5-Clubs} and Mercier had check-raised all in for her last 5,225.

"Don't you want to be bounty chip leader?" asked Mercier, pointing out her opponent's stack of bounty chips.

Joseph thought for a while longer. "I'm curious," he said, fondling the stack of chips required to make the call.

"Yesss!" said Mercier, causing Joseph to go into the tank for a while longer.

Eventually Joseph called. "Two pair," announced Mercier, showing {5-Spades}{3-Spades}. Joseph showed {q-Spades}{j-Hearts} for top pair.

The river was the {8-Hearts}, counterfeiting Mercier's two pair and eliminating her.

The dealer spread a flop of {j-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{7-Hearts}. Action checked to Laake who bet 500. The player in the small blind called as did the player in the big blind. The original raiser folded.

The turn came the {4-Spades}. The small blind and the big blind checked again, and Laake continued for 1,300. The player in the small blind stuck around with a call, but the big blind folded.

The {6-Spades} river completed the board and the player in the small blind checked. Laake moved all in for a total of 4,775. His opponent tanked for a minute before giving up his hand, and Laake claimed the pot.
