Welcome to Event #5C: $565 Colossus III No-Limit Hold'Em

The doors are open bright and early for a second straight day at the Rio Convention Centre for Event 5C: $565 Colossus III No-Limit Hold'Em of the 2017 WSOP. There were a total of 4,738 entries for the opening two flights of the tournament yesterday with 157 of them bagging chips to head into Day 2.

Play will commence at 10 a.m. and continue for 18 levels. Players will be given a 5,000 chip stack to begin the day and the blinds will start at 25/50, increasing in 30-minute intervals with a 20-minute break after every four levels. One rebuy per flight will be permitted and late registration will be open until the end of Level 6.

The money bubble will burst at some point throughout the day and players that bust afterward will collect their cash prize. The ones that are lucky enough to find a bag at the end of the day will return for Day 2 on June 5. They will all be in search of a piece of the $8,000,000 guaranteed prize pool and, more importantly, the $1,000,000 first-place prize.
