Rainer Kempe Eliminated by Taylor Black

Nível 9 : 400/800, 100 ante
Rainer Kempe
Rainer Kempe

With the board reading {8-Spades}{2-Spades}{2-Clubs} {6-Hearts} and more than 27,000 in the pot, Taylor Black put out a bet of 55,000 in the small blind. His bet was enough to put Rainer Kempe to an all-in decision for his remaining 37,500 chips.

Kempe went into the tank and eventually called. Kempe had {4-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} and he was Black's {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}. The {9-Diamonds} couldn't save Kempe and he was eliminated shortly before the final level of play for the night.

David Peters Takes One From Doug Polk

Nível 9 : 400/800, 100 ante

David Peters opened under the gun to 1,800. Action folded to the button, who called. The small blind folded, and Dough Polk, in the big blind, defended.

The flop was {4-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}, and it was checked through, as was the {a-Diamonds} turn. The river was the {5-Spades}. Polk bet 5,200, and Peters shoved for 12,600. The button folded. After a few seconds of reflection, Polk let it go, too, and showed {a-Clubs}{5-Clubs}.

Dhanjal Tanveer Flops Top Two

Nível 9 : 400/800, 100 ante

The player in middle position raised to 1,800 and Dhanjal Tanveer three-bet to 4,100 on the button. Jon Turner called in the big blind and the initial raiser called.

The flop was {Q-Spades}{J-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} and Turner checked. The next player checked and Tanveer bet 6,500. Turner folded and the next player called. On the {K-Hearts} turn, both players checked and the river was the {3-Hearts}. The first player checked, Tanveer bet 10,000 and his opponent called.

Tanveer showed {Q-Hearts}{J-Diamonds} for two pair, queens and jacks, and that was good.

Yoon: {4-Clubs}{3-Clubs}
Diaz: {9-Spades}{8-Diamonds}
