Jonathan Abdellatif Knocked Out by Noah Vaillancourt

Nível 16 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante
Jonathan Abdellatif
Jonathan Abdellatif

Jonathan Abdellatif raised to 28,000 from the under-the-gun position. Noah Vaillancourt, in middle position, and Patrick Uzan, on the button, both called.

The flop came {K-Spades}{4-Spades}{5-Clubs}, Abdellatif went all in for his remaining 5,500, Vaillancourt raised, and Uzan snap-folded.

Abdellatif showed {2-Spades}{2-Hearts}, and Vaillancourt showed {A-Spades}{K-Hearts}. Abdellatif needed some help to survive. The {7-Spades} on the turn and the {J-Diamonds} on the river didn't give him any help, so he grabbed his stuff and went to the payout desk.

Christopher Kostoulas Wins Huge Pot

Nível 16 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Yuhei Sanada opened the action from late position, and Christopher Kostoulas called in the small blind.

The flop was {4-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{4-Hearts}, and Kostoulas check-called a bet of 8,000 from Sanada. The turn was the {q-Hearts}, and Kostoulas led out for 14,000, which Sanada called. The river was the {a-Spades}, and Sanada moved all in, overbetting the pot by some margin and just covering Kostoulas’ stack. There was a fair bit of agonizing, but Kostoulas called.

Yuhei Sanada tabled {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}, but it was no good against Kostoulas' {9-Hearts}{3-Hearts}.

A jubilant Kostoulas clapped his hands, and the adrenalin shot him out of his seat, relieved to have made the right call and win a huge pot.

Leng showed {K-Hearts}{8-Hearts} for a pair of tens on the board with a king kicker, and Behnam showed {8-Clubs}{8-Spades} for two pair, tens and eights.

Khorchidian Nichan had just moved to Valentin Vornicu’s table, and he opened the pot. Vornicu greeted the new arrival by shoving for 70,000. Nichan called with {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts}, and Vornicu tabled {9-Clubs}{8-Clubs}.

The board ran out {j-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}.

Start-of-day chip leader Vornicu flopped an open-ended straight draw but bricked out on the turn and river to finish off a disastrous couple levels which saw him busted from the tournament.
