This event was held for the first time last year, and Allan Le triumphed over a 668-player field to earn $189,223 and the first gold bracelet of his career.

The rotation in this event consists of three variants of Omaha hi-lo: pot-limit Omaha hi-lo, fixed-limit Omaha hi-lo, and big O (five card pot-limit Omaha hi-lo). Each game will be played for seven hands before moving on to the next, and a maximum of seven players will be seated at each table.

Cards will be in the air at 3 p.m. local time and Day 1 play will consist of 10 one-hour levels. All players will begin with 7,500 chips. There will be a 15-minute break every two levels and late registration will run through the end of Level 6, closing at approximately 9:45 p.m.

Big-O

Allen Kessler limped from under the gun, the player in the cutoff called, Matt Vengrin completed the small blind, and Mike Leah checked his option.

The flop came down {K-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} and Vengrin checked to Leah who bet 150. Kessler folded, the cutoff raised to 600, Vengrin folded, and Leah called. Both players proceeded to check the {2-Clubs} turn and {J-Spades} river.

The player in the cutoff showed {A-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} for a set of eights, Leah flashed {K-Spades}{9-Spades} for two pair as he mucked, and his opponent collected the pot.

Woods Trips Up Matusow

Nível 1 : 25/50, 0 ante

PLO-8

Picking up the action in a four-handed pot after the turn of a {J-Hearts}{10-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{6-Spades} board, the player in the small blind checked to Mike Matusow in the big blind and he bet 300. James Woods raised to 800 from the hijack, the player on the button folded, the small blind folded, and Matusow called.

The river was the {K-Spades} and both players checked.

"Ace-six?" asked Matusow.

Woods showed {A-Spades}{A-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{6-Clubs} for sixes full of tens, Matusow showed the {6-Hearts} as he mucked, and Woods took down the pot.
